- Select and Better grade has been color sorted to remove imperfections such as dark heartwood, cracks, and knots. There will be some color variation with this grade, but is mostly consistent in color.
- We have #1 Common Hickory. This grade has color variations and some imperfections like knots and wormholes.
- We also offer #2 Common Hickory, or Rustic Hickory. This grade will have all of the natural character of the wood and varies in color.
- The last grade is called Calico Hickory. It is very unique, but more expensive than a traditional Hickory floor. It is made from boards that have a 40/60 split color or more.
