Most Tiete Chestnut is milled in South America because it is mote cost effective. Boards range from 1-7′ lengths and 2 1/4″ to 5″ widths as to fit into shipping containers. Long lengths can be obtained in necessary, however it can be extremely expensive because this lumber is very rare.

  • Clear grade is the most popular grade in this species. It is color sorted for a rich deep red brown color.
