Most Tiete Rosewood is milled in South America because it is more cost effective. Boards are usually 1-7′ lengths and 2 1/4″ to 5″ widths as to fit into shipping containers. Long lengths can be obtained if needed, but is extremely expensive because it is very rare.

  • Clear grade is the most popular grade. It is color sorted for a deep red color. Only the heartwood is used in this grade.
