Most Yellowheart is milled in South America because it is more cost effective. Boards are usually 1-7′ lengths and 2 1/4″ to 5″ widths st to fit into shipping containers. Longer lengths can be obtained, however that can double the price because of the labor and waste costs. This lumber is also heavily taxed to support South American economies.
